Long Point Urgent and Family Care is a convenient and caring alternative when you have a sudden illness or injury. An urgent health concern can be any type of illness or injury that must be addressed immediatley and cannot wait for a regular medical appointment, but is non-life threatening. We can supplement medical care from your primary care doctor as well as provide a quicker, less expensive alternative to emergency rooms for minor illnesses.
Urgent Care centers are not appropriate for patients with acute chest pain, severe shortness of breath or other acute life threatening illnesses or injuires. If you happen to be experiencing this type of discomfort, please visit the nearest Roper St. Francis Healthcare Emergency Room.
Does Long Point Urgent & Family Care have on-site lab and radiology services available?

Yes. When a lab or x-ray is warranted due to a patient's condition we have accessibility Roper Hospital Diagnostics. Consent will be obtained from the patient in order to receive
on-site treatment and permit payment to Roper Diagnostics.
Where should I go for follow-up?

If you have a primary care doctor, you may let us know at the time of your visit and we will gladly send the notes from your visit with us to your preferred primary care doctor.
